PSL SIGNUPS

Hello! Here are some sign-ups for a super short and simple one-shot PSL running the weekend of the 29th, and open to characters from Ace Attorney, Ghost Trick, and Dangan Ronpa.

Despite the characters involved there won't be a lot of mystery or a trial or anything — just a lot of good old-fashioned blood, death, and destruction — but if all goes well I might run fancier things in the future.

A post will be up on Friday the 29th (or possibly a little earlier if people want more time to mingle) but the important time to be here is Sat 4PM PST/7PM EST/Sun 8AM JST, because that's when the fun will start. By "fun" I mean I'm going to be killing a lot of you.

You may play two characters! First characters are first-come first serve; for second characters, list two or three or so in order of preference, and you'll get whoever is leftover by game time. I don't have a player cap because I'm not expecting this to get huge, but on the off chance I'm wrong I'll drop second characters entirely.

If the character you want is dead, please punch the timeline and take them from four minutes before they died (unless they're from Ghost Trick, in which case... carry on). Otherwise feel free to be from any point in the timeline you damn well please.

I gotta think of how he can talk to everybody else. Maybe give him a collar like the dogs from Up?

Ah, well, I guess it depends on how soon people die? Once they die once, Missile could talk to them in their heads like in the DS game, right?

Yes! But people aren't gonna start dropping dead until the second part, and the first part will mostly be centered around talking to each other, so I think it might be a good idea (unless for whatever reason you'd prefer not to - it's your call).

But yes, Missile and the Feys will be able to interact with the dead like normal.

Oh! I was not aware of that! Hmm... It could be fun to see people's initial reaction to a talking dog once they die, but if the first part will go on for an extended period of time, lots of "Missile wagged his tail and barked a lot" might not be so fun ^^;

Initial plan was just 24 hours, but I'm too excited and we have a lot more players than I expected, so I think I'd like to open up a day or so earlier than that just to let people mingle and watch the chaos of the wildly scattered timeline unfold.

Thanks! It was either that or weeaboohoo. Some days I think back on that decision and dream of what could have been.

Too bad there's no Luke Triton around to facilitate inter-species conversations, huh ^^;

Yeah, in that case, I think maybe something like a speech collar would be good. Or maybe lots of wild gesturing and dancing on hind legs on Missile's part, haha. (Congrats on finding so many players!)
